About Me

Creatively Anchored

Starting Out

I was introduced to Photoshop and graphic design through a class in 8th grade. I fell in love with it so much that after that class, I instantly looked for free alternatives, finding a website called “Photopea”. I worked in this program for years and remember it very fondly.

Since Those Moments

Not only did I gain access to the Adobe Suite, I’ve continued to grow my skills, working for companies, contractors, and myself. I believe in learning through experience, so I’ve constantly pushed myself with new opportunities and projects.

In high school, I was the lead graphic designer at my school newspaper, making award-winning graphics. At the end of high school, I went on to make a solo photography/videography project called “Summer On Polaroid,” which garnered over 100,000 views.

Since entering Iowa State University, I’ve worked to shape charity events, market over 20 different programs, and forge a new business out of my Resident Assistant dorm room. I've connected with countless professionals, helped hundreds of students, and captured the eyes of tens of thousands through my advertising efforts.

Currently

I’m working hard as a Resident Assistant at Iowa State University, and operating my business, Songbird Music Decor. I also serve as the Cardinal & Gold Advertising Agency President, where I help other advertising students fall in love with design. This year, I’m looking for a summer internship where I can apply these skills.
